Starting from what was once our largest market town, we seek out some of the island’s tiniest rural churches, down leafy lanes and byways off the beaten track. A proper Welsh lunch is included.

We meet at the village of Llannerch y Medd on the Isle of Anglesey to cycle a circular route, visiting churches and a standing stone along the way. We will cycle around 20 miles at a leisurely pace, with a height gain of 870 feet. A proper Welsh lunch is included.
If you bring your own bike, please bring a helmet, a basic repair kit and preferably a spare inner tube. You should also ensure that your bike is in good working order.
If you don't have your own bike, you can hire bikes (or an electric bike) through us at an additional cost. These must be booked in advance so please discuss with us.
Bring layers appropriate for the weather, and shoes suitable for cycling (more information on our website).
Minimum age is 16 years. Participants must be able to cycle on the road and in a group. There is also a walk of around a mile across uneven rocky beach surface.
Our start time is 10.30am and the tour lasts approximately 6 hours.
Toilets are available at start, lunchtime and the end.
A proper Welsh lunch from Caffi Mechell Llanfechell is included, please inform us of any dietary requirements. Tea / coffee at beginning and end of the day at a local cafe for an additional cost.
There is free off road parking (for car or minibus) at the start and end point.
This tour involves periods of walking or long flights of steps. This tour is not suitable for wheelchair users due to steps at the churches. Please contact us for details.
