Book this event Back to events

Event information

Peter Stratton will give an insight into the little known German Prisoner of War camp at Eastcote.

Over 4000 German prisoners were detained there, and now there’s absolutely no sign of it. It’s a fascinating story, well told by Peter.

The talk is in support of the fundraising appeal to restore and renovate St Michael's, Church Stowe. Tea and delicious cakes will be served. The talk will take place in The Boat House, by the lake, adjacent to St Michael's Church Stowe, NN7 4SG.

The talk forms part of a series to also include Churches of Northamptonshire (September 25th) and Northamptonshire County Houses (November 21st) £15 per lecture or £40 for all three lectures Tickets to be purchased in advance (please see contact details)
