National Heritage Open Day: “People Power”

Book this event Back to events

Event information

We will be highlighting some of the local people who have played a part in our history, including the Bradford Rabble in the English Civil War, and the fascinating story of Joe Hardcastle, an ordinary Bradford man who spent 60 years as a Cathedral bell ringer.

There will be the opportunity to visit the bell tower. Guided tours giving a detailed history of the Cathedral and some of the interesting people connected with it will be available at 12:30pm and 2pm.

This event is hosted by Bradford Cathedral

Bradford's beautiful cathedral is a hidden jewel waiting to be discovered with its peaceful setting in tranquil gardens where once battle raged.
