St Lawrence church, Revesby, birthplace of famous botanist Sir Joseph Banks, presents Aiden Neary of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.

Learn about the Trust's three year project which is being delivered in partnership with The Lincolnshire Naturalists Union, Sir Joseph Banks Society and The Natural History Museum and is being funded by the National Lottery. 

The project aims to inspire the next generation of botanists through plant collection, botanical art and much more.

The present church was built in the Decorated style in 1891 on the site of a previous Georgian church built in 1733 by Revesby Abbey estate owner Joseph Banks, the great grandfather of naturalist Sir Joseph Banks.
