Event information

Absorb the history of a Grade I listed building with the aid of musical performances, poetry and theatrical lighting ranging from 1730s to 1960s.

The event tours the main points of interest in the church with lighting, readings and live musical performance starting with the Holy Ghost plaque and barrelled ceiling.

It is in memory of Mrs. Wendy Gwynne who wrote the history of St. Thomas', entitled "A Journey Through Time" and was one of our tour guides and speakers who sadly died in December 2018. The audience will receive refreshments on arrival and will be free to move around in the church if they wish.

There is no charge as this event recognises the support we have received from the National Lottery, but it is a ticketed event, starting at 7.30pm. St. Thomas' bells will be rung before the event.
