A Celtic Pilgrimage Calligraphy Workshop

Event information

Join a calligraphy workshop suitable for all ability levels (over 18).

Follow in the steps of the great Celtic missionary saints by exploring the letterforms of the Lindisfarne gospels, the Book of Kells and other poetry and prose texts from the early medieval period, with local artist Dr Elizabeth Beattie.

Please bring your own apron.

The workshop will be held in the Cathedrals early 12th Century round Chapter House, accessed off the East Cloister, just along from the Cathedral Cloister Cafe.

Refreshments can be purchased in the Cloister Café, open 10am - 4.30pm. There will opportunities during the workshop to take breaks.
