Bradford Cathedral: A Visual History

Event information

Cathedral timeline to mark Bradford Cathedral’s centenary:  across the exhibition we have traced the history of the past one-hundred years with some of the biggest events of international, national and local importance, as well as some other significant dates globally and for the Cathedral. We’d like to welcome you to add your own memories by writing down significant dates, events and stories in your Cathedral life on the luggage tags and then pinning them into the grey sections of the timeline around the appropriate year.

Cathedral Photos: for this exhibition we have assembled together a small selection of photos from our archives including images previously curated for ‘Remembering 95 Years’, an exhibition about the Bradford Diocese from 1919 - 2014. We have included images from across the one-hundred years of Bradford Cathedral’s history as well as some chosen photos from our centenary year so far. We’d love to hear your thoughts on the photos and see any you may have in your own collections. Please complete a form on the table, or talk to a member of the team.

School Work: we have also collected some of the incredible pieces created by our visiting schools and children, to celebrate their work.
