Erstwhile Archbishop of Canterbury and now Master of Magdalene College, Cambridge, Dr Williams will look at what goes on in the writing of poetry, in various contexts across the centuries – the place of rhyme and metre, the way images can be used, and the relation between poetry and other kinds of seeing or thinking, including religious faith.
