St Michael

Built in about 1150, St Michael's church is a simple single aisled building displaying a Norman chancel arch and a later 14th century tower.

About this church

The unusual Norman font depicts a priest performing a baptism.

Although the church has been separated from the village by a bypass road, the setting still remains peaceful and tranquil.
