A long established community church with a warm welcome and a key archive to the area's history.

About this church

The original church, known as the Iron Church, was built in 1879. A new stone church was built to replace this in 1888 and the building which stands today was completed in the early 1990s. We are part of the Place of Welcome scheme, have a key archive to the local history of the area.
