Lovely Lincolnshire

Telling the stories of past lives in the county's rural villages, cities and market towns, churches bring to life the history of Lincolnshire in such an exciting way.

Paws in pews

An increasing number of Britain’s churches are welcoming pets with almost two thirds considering themselves to be 'pet friendly'.

Upcoming events

Welcome once again. One hundred churches have come together to celebrate their rich diversity. We have churches of all sizes and denominations, some are simple churches serving small hamlets, others are buildings of larger stature, serving our market towns. But all share one thing in common; a warm welcome to everyone over the festival weekends.

Oldest churches

Astounding churches where ancient fabric dates from pre AD800, and all are still being used!

Sir Christopher Wren

Sir Christopher Wren (1632-1723) rebuilt 52 churches after the Great Fire in 1666. He also built St James, Picadilly, where our 2018 Christmas Carol Concert will be held!
